Day trip to Gifu

~Bird watching
and
see the Kouyou(Changing colour leaves)~

Today I went to Gifu to watch some birds and Kouyou(Changing leaves).
It was bit cloudy, but I could see blue sky sometimes.
There is a pond that call 'Matsuo ike' (Pond of Matsuo) and some birds. Also there are few house which is traditional style house. It's call 'Gassyou dukuri no ie' (Thatched roof house).

This birds are 'Oshidori' (Mandarin duck). It's species of duck.

This bird call 'Kawasemi' (Kingfisher). It's not like Kookaburra in Australia. Those are same kind of bird, but Kawasemi is very quiet to sing.
It has really gorgeous feather.

I took some nice photos.
When I took those photos the weather change nicely. I was so lucky and happy about it.

Yeah, I could see blue sky.
I could take nice one. I like the colour of blue, red, yellow, and orange. It's really good. The sky of blue bring out the leaves' colours.

This is the house I mentioned before.
This place isn't world helitage one, but same kind of house. World heritage is exist same prefecture, but it's bit far from here.
Anyway it was nice to see this house.

This photo is one of my favourite photo which I took today. Best one is below.

Day trip

~Day trip to Inuyama~

I went to see Kouyou (Changing colour leaves) in Inuyama with my Mom and Dad.
Firstly we went to 'Jyakkouin' which is temple.
Those photos are inside temple grounds.

At the temple most of the trees are looks like this, orange or yellow.
It was so gorgeous.

This is 'Kanzakura' (winter cherry blossom).
Normally cherry blossom is spring, but we also have winter one too.

My mom found this baby tree between stone stairway.
It's so cute. No one might find, but we foud you.
Good luck and take care...
I guess it already took few years to grow like this.

Afterwards we took a lunch break near the shrine.
That shrine call 'Momotarou shrine'.
Momotarou is one of Japanese folk tale.

It's a gate of Momotarou shrine.
It was a funny place. It's different from normal shrine. Much more like entertainment place, because there are some statues of character of Momotarou.

This photo is from the view of the shrine.
It was pretty.

Then we went to inside of Inuyama city.

On the way to the city I found a interesting rock in the river.
It's an art of the river. River current made this figure

There is a castle at the riverside.
This Castle is national trasure and made by wood. It's real castle. Not reconstruct. Most of the castle reconstructed, becasue of fire or some kind of natural disster, etc...

(There is my Mom on this photo. Looking up the tree.)

This house is storage for 'Dashi' (Float).
If there are some traditional events, it open and show us around.
Unfortunately not this time...

Day trip to Seto city

~Seto city~

I went to day trip with my family. Actually my brother had a volunteer work there, so with my parent.
Anyway the purpose was to see Kouyou (Changing colour leaves) at the Iwayadou.

First tell you about some photos in Seto city.

Seto city is famous for pottery.
I foud some interesting there, but I want toshow you this one. It was so funny, because at the parking there are so many pottery like my photos on the wall.

This tower located in digital research park centre which is digital broad casting centre.
In the future in Japan is changing from analog to digital broad cast.
This is the one of the tower that cover around my area.

~Iwayadou~

There is a part of the temple, but this time we didn't go temple, because temple locate different place. Iwayadou is rocky cavern which is tiny temle.

This is entrance of Iwayadou.

This photo is Iwayadou.
It was really dark so I have to use flash.
Part of the name Iwa is rock, so it surrounding huge rocks and make cavern.

There is small pond and many carps.

~Kouyou (Changing colour leaves)~

It was a little bit early to see Kouyou (Changing colour leaves), but I could take some nice photos.
It becasue still there are some green leves, so it make little bit difference. Normally it's more bright when change to red, orange or yellow.
One of the photo which have some orange round things. That is 'Kaki' (Persimmon).
It was very tiny. My mum said it' grow only in the mountain or hill.
Anyway I had really fun day.

Autumn festival

~Kakuouzan autumn festival~

I went to Kakuouzan autumn festival. It was on the street toward to Nittaiji temple. And there is Japanese garden area close near the temple. There are old houses, garden and Inari (shrine). That place used to owner of depertment store's second house, but now everone can visit and see.
This festival is kind of like art festival.
There are some arts. Also selling clothes, knick knack, etc.. that someone made it and food. It's like a market.

'The chairs who sitting on the wind'
Many people coming on this street, but not only peole. The wind also coming. There are many shops which people can rest, but not for the wind, so I made this chair for the wind.
'Hi, Wind. Please rest here...'
Don cajon

I found those chair on the way to the temple. It was interesting. There is explanation of this art. I transrated in English what artist say. (Next to the photo)

Sorry I didn't take temple's photos, because there wasn't any art and also having a funeral, so I thought shouldn't take photos...
Anyway I moved to next place...

I wen to Youki sou which explained above.
I sometimes go to temple to take photos, but it was a first time to visit there. It was so pretty. I don't know why I didn't go there until then.

Some people practicing Syamisen at the stage on the pond , it becasue bit later there were concert. Syamisen is traditional instrument in Japan. There are three strings and play with the plectrum.

I found this in front of the house.
It was a wedding dress which made of some flowers and fabric. It's so gorgeous.

At the same area there is Inari (shrine).

This fox call 'Oinari sama' in Japanese. This is a one of the GOD. There are two of them between shrine.
On the way to the Inari, there are some Torii. Those are gate of the shrine. Normally just red gate, but at this time someone put somethings. It's for festival, so I could see different and unusual things. Some mirrors and pictures. It'll be ok for art, but I want to introduce traditional thig, so if I had a time, I'll put without art...
